Hi Jannet, Our medical team is out of the office Wednesday and Thursday of each week to be available on the weekends. That means we did not have any medical personnel available to see your BIL and your pet the Wednesday they arrived. The only available personnel that day was a receptionist, who is not a veterinarian or vet tech. Our receptionist did the best she could in this situation, which was refer your BIL to a location that had a veterinarian in the office that day. Our receptionist could have gotten your BIL, your pet, and themselves into a lot of trouble had they offered any medical advice or attempted to provide medical care, since they are not trained for that.
